Wedding & Tiered Cake Pricing InformationGeneral Pricing & Budgeting Information: Choosing your wedding cake is very similar to choosing your wedding gown. If you have $100 to spend, you may have 1 or 2 choices; whereas, if you have $1000 to spend, you can choose from an entire room full of dresses. So, how do you budget for your wedding cake? A general rule of thumb is to take your guest count and multiply it by $3. This will afford you a reasonable budget for your cake. If you don't have that much to spend, there are still options for you, but they are fewer in number. So come in for your consultation with an open mind and we will work hard to find options that are within your budget. Below is a general description of how cakes are priced: Stacked or Tiered cakes START at $2.50 per serving and while there are several designs available at this price, please be aware that as you add more detailed and advanced work, these are more time-consuming and therefore add to the cost. - Individual Cakes & Centerpiece Cakes arranged on stands START at $2.00 per serving
Kitchen Cakes
Kitchen Cakes are cakes that are simply frosted and used for extra servings when a smaller wedding cake is desired, but a large number of servings are required. These are placed in the kitchen and served when needed. The great thing about choosing a round or square kitchen cake is that it looks just like the wedding cake when cut! In order to protect our brand, we ask that ALL kitchen, sheet and cupcakes cakes are purchased at Ryke's Bakery to avoid confusion about our product quality. Fountains, cupcake trees, cake stands and plateaus are available to rent for $10 - $50. $50 security deposit is requested for the use of cake stands, pillars, dummy layers and plates. The security deposit is fully refunded when the equipment is returned within 5 days of the event. Invoices will be issued for any damaged or missing equipement. Delivery and setup is available upon request. Cost is determined by the location. 20% down payment is required to reserve a date.
Cake Flavors: Ryke's Classic Flavors: Cream (Not white, not yellow - a lite cake), Dark Chocolate and Marbled Specialty cake flavors are available at an additional per serving cost and include: $.25 extra per serving for Banana, Cherry Chip, Funfetti and Maple. $.50 extra per seving for Banana Nut, Maple Nut & Tres Leches. $.75 extra per serving for Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese filling and icing. Fillings: Ryke's Classic Fillings: Bavarian Cream, Chocolate Bavarian Cream, Lemon, Raspberry, Strawberry, Pineapple, Butter Cream and Chocolate Butter Cream Specialty Fillings available at an additional $.25 per serving include: Coconut Cream, Banana Cream, Peanut Butter Bavarian, and Chocolate Mousse. Ganache is an additional $.50 per serving and Fresh Fruit (in season) added to our Barvarain Cream is an additional $1.00 per serving. Icing: Butter Cream or Chocolate Butter Cream Tinted icing is available at an additional $.25 per serving Special Event Cupcakes Cupcakes start at - $1.25 each and go up from there depending on flavor, decoration and what they are baked in With Flower or buds: add $.25 to $1 to base cost per cupcake Filled Cupcakes: add $1.00 to $1.25 to base cost per cupcake Set up fee: $.50 per cupcake Additional Cake Information More Information |
